The project scope covers all work related to fire alarm and fire suppression systems, starting from technical survey and study and drawing approval, through equipment and materials supply and installation, connectivity, and programming works, and ending with testing, commissioning, and final handover in accordance with the project's approved requirements and specifications.

1. Technical Site Survey & Study
- Surveying the bank branch site and all areas requiring protection.
- Studying the available architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings.
- Identifying risks and the required protection zones.
- Determining the locations of alarm and suppression system devices and components.
- Reviewing existing infrastructure and utilizing it where possible.
- Preparing shop drawings.
- Preparing drawings for protection zones and device distribution.
- Obtaining the required approvals before starting execution.
2. Fire Alarm System
The scope of work includes supplying, installing, programming, and testing the fire alarm system components, including, per the approved design:
- Fire Alarm Control Panel.
- Smoke Detectors.
- Heat Detectors, when needed.
- Manual Call Points.
- Sounders / Horns.
- Strobe Lights.
- Input / Output Modules.
- Required monitoring and control units.
- Approved fire alarm system cabling.
- Emergency batteries and power supplies.
- Connecting the system to related equipment and systems per the design.
- Numbering all devices and system points.
3. Fire Suppression System
The scope of work includes supplying and installing the fire suppression system according to each area’s nature and design requirements, including — per the approved drawings — the following:
- Fire extinguishers suitable for different types of hazards.
- Fire suppression networks and pipework, where included within the project scope.
- Valves and fire network accessories.
- Fire Hose Cabinets, when needed.
- Landing Valves and Fire Hose Reels per the design.
- Fire Pumps, if within the project scope.
- Fire suppression water tank, if within the project scope.
- Special suppression systems for sensitive areas, such as server rooms or data rooms, if required by the design.
- All fittings, supports, and accessories required for execution.
4. Special Suppression Systems
Where rooms or areas of a special nature exist, the appropriate suppression system is executed per the approved design, such as:
- Server rooms and data centers.
- Communication rooms.
- Electrical rooms.
- Sensitive equipment rooms.
- Cabinets or areas for sensitive documents and assets.
The system type and suppression agents used are determined based on the risks, project requirements, and relevant authorities.
5. Installation & Piping Works
- Running the fire suppression network piping per the drawings.
- Executing pipe hanging and fixing works.
- Running the fire alarm system cabling.
- Installing devices and equipment at the approved locations.
- Executing the required electrical connections.
- Installing panels and control units.
- Executing integration works between the different systems.
- Numbering cables, devices, and pipework.
- Executing finishing works and restoring the site to a suitable condition after installation.
6. Programming & Integration
- Programming the fire alarm control panel.
- Defining all devices and points on the system.
- Dividing the system into zones per the design.
- Preparing the Cause & Effect Matrix.
- Programming fire-related scenarios.
- Integrating the alarm system with related building systems when needed.
- Testing signals and notifications.
- Setting up user permissions per requirements.
7. Testing & Commissioning
Comprehensive testing is carried out for all system components, including:
- Testing smoke and heat detectors.
- Testing manual call points.
- Testing sounders and strobe lights.
- Testing the control panel.
- Testing batteries and the backup power source.
- Testing all zones.
- Testing control and monitoring devices.
- Testing the fire suppression network, where present.
- Conducting pressure and leak tests for the network per requirements.
